Omni Block is practically soundproof. The test results from ASTM E-90 Sound Transmission, performed by Architectural Testing, specifically the Outdoor-to-Indoor Transmission Class (OITC) achieved a rating of 42. To put this rating in perspective, New York City sound code has three levels: up to 30, 31 to 35, and the highest level 36 to 40. Omni Block surpasses the highest sound level code requirement for Outdoor-to-Indoor Transmission Class.
