ASTM C-90 and C-140 Standard Test Methods for Sampling and Testing

Omni Block concrete masonry units (CMU) have significantly passed the industry standard (ASTM C-90-14 and C-140) for structural block every time when manufactured and tested in the USA. This test result had the block at 3740 psi compressive strength when the minimum is only 2000 psi.

There are probably at least 100 different CMU units available on the market and if they meet ASTM testing criteria, all can be engineered using the standard CMU tables available from a number of sources. Omni Block System 8 comprises of just 3 of those units that are available.
